Ruff Diamond American Bulldogs have a *28 month guarantee against crippling Canine Hip Dysplasia and any/all genetic defects as long as the dog has not been bred *(females bred prior to 22 months and males prior to 18 months will void this warranty).. All genetic testing and x-rays to be completed or an evaluation performed before the ages of 28 months.  If the dog is found to have CCH Dysplasia, the dog will be replaced or a credit given on another pup upon written verification from OFA or PennHIP and the x-rays MUST be sent to RD American Bulldogs along with the tattooed identification Number of the dog and the x-rays... (they must match).  X-rays are to be sent ASAP to our vet to confirm the diagnosis.  The dog must come back higher that the median score, with Degenerative Joint Disease (DJD), for a replacement of or a credit on the dog.  The owner then has three options....Putting the animal down, keeping the dog and spaying or neutering or returning the animal and the registration papers on the dog for the first available pup, of the same sex and quality in order to receive a replacement puppy or applying the credit on another dog.  All shipping on returns will be at the current owners expense and proof of euthanasia, and spay or neuter is required for a replacement or credit.  This guarantee does not apply to any dog or puppy sold for 700.00 or less unless  otherwise specified in writing at the time of purchase.  It does not apply to dogs or puppies with limited registration and/or those sold with spay or neuter agreements.  The guarantee only applies to dogs/puppies bred by RD American Bulldogs and only to the original purchaser of the dog/puppy.  We also guarantee that the dog will be of stable temperament at the time of delivery.  If for any reason you feel a dog has an unstable temperament you must contact Ruff Diamond immediately and you must contact a certified trainer to evaluate the dog.  We only guarantee a stable temperament at the time of delivery and within 7 days of the delivery date.  The rest is up to you to make sure your dog is trained and socialized.  Guarantee is void if males are bred before the age of 18 months and females are bred before the age of 22 months, mistreated, abused, lack of socialization or any type of neglect is evident in the dog.  The purchaser shall return the dog in exchange for another dog of equal value or credit.   This guarantee is a puppy only guarantee this means no cash refunds.

A non-refundable $300.00 deposit is required to hold a puppy from a breeding of your choice prior to the birth of the pups; or a $500.00 deposit is require if the pup is already born, or a $300.00 deposit is required to be put on a waiting list of a certain breeding if all top 3 picks are taken.  The pup is to be PAID IN FULL, as well as the shipping crate, by the age of 6 weeks (Unless other arrangements have been approved by Ruff Diamond).  If some unforeseen occurrence such as "not enough pups in a litter, not a pup of the sex you wanted  or perhaps the female did not take"....Your deposit will be applied to the next available litter.  If said pup is not paid in full by the age of 6 wks all money paid will be forfeited on that litter and moved to another litter (unless other arrangements have been made with Ruff Diamond).

All shipping is to be paid by the purchaser.  If the buyer wishes,  the crate can be purchased thru us;  the cost will vary depending on the size of the crate needed.

We take the dog to the Atlanta GA airport.   If we hold the dog for you longer that 10 days after the purchase, or 10 days after the age of 8 weeks there will be a 3.00 a day kennel charge for boarding the dog until shipping, (only if reason is by the purchaser).

If for any reason you have a deposit on a pup and we contact you for further payment and you do not respond within 10 days all rights to pup and deposit are forfeited up by the purchaser.  Unless an agreement is made in writing by Ruff Diamond American Bulldogs.

The purchaser also agrees that if they can no longer keep the dog,  it will be returned to Ruff Diamond American Bulldogs, not an animal shelter or dog pound.  Purchaser will receive no compensation from us, as we will be incurring vet bills for the rescued animal.  (Unless specified in writing)

We require you to keep in touch with us and we would expect progress reports and pictures of the dog.

Ruff Diamond's Contract

Ruff Diamond American Bulldogs as said in this agreement is the breeder and seller of said pup.  Said pup is out of sire: ___________________X Dam: ______________________ and is of said sex: ___________.  Said pup is describes as (name/color/description here)                                    .  Both parents of said pup are full blooded and registered as American Bulldogs under either the NKC, ABRA, BBC or ARF.  Said pup is being sold for the amount of $ ____________. Any pup or dog sold for 750.00 or less will come with a spade or neuter contract and the guarantee and contract is void unless in writing by Ruff Diamond.

The purchaser of said pup _______________________________ agrees to abide by all terms and conditions herein.

1. Pup is to be examined by a veterinarian within 48 hours of delivery or pickup.  If said pup is found to be other than healthy and free from birth defects by the veterinarian the pup is to be returned to Ruff Diamond immediately and the pup will be replaced with another pup of the same sex, age and value as soon as one is available.  Ruff Diamond reserves the right to have said pup examined by our veterinarian before the pup is replaced.  All veterinarian paperwork and information will be released to Ruff Diamond prior to return of pup  Ruff Diamond supplies a veterinarian report for you to have filled out by your vet.  That form must be returned to Ruff Diamond.

2. The buyer resumes all responsibility to carry on with all appropriate vaccinations, exercise and feeding schedule to keep pup in top physical condition.  Buyer also agrees to yearly examinations, heart worm testing and preventative and all other procedures necessary to assure good health.

3. Purchaser also agrees that if for any reason you cannot care for the puppy or dog from Ruff Diamond the purchaser will contact Ruff Diamond and we will either take the pup or dog back or assist the owner in placing the dog in a proper home.  The buyer also agrees that said pup or dog will not be taken to a shelter or pound.

4. Purchaser also agrees to supply Ruff Diamond with regular photos and updates of said pup.

5. Ruff Diamond agrees said pup to have acceptable hip joint confirmation as determined by OFA or Penn Hip.  If said dogs hips are rejected for OFA or Penn Hip and the dog has not been bred or studded Ruff Diamond will replace said dog with another pup of comparable value from our next available litter.  Replacement pups will be of the same sex as the original pup unless otherwise agreed to by both the purchaser and breeder and is placed in writing.  Ruff Diamond must be notified of the OFA or PH results within 30 days of receipt of the results.  OFA or PH rejections and a written statement from the licensed veterinarian who performed the x-rays must be sent to Ruff Diamond.  All OFA or Penn Hip x-rays must have the tattoo or microchip number of the dog posted on them.  The buyer of said dog then has the following options before receiving a replacement pup...the dog can be returned to Ruff Diamond at the buyers expense along with a health certificate, all shot records and registration paperwork, the dog can be euthanized or the purchaser has the option to keep the dog as long as the dog has been spayed or neutered and proof is forwarded to Ruff Diamond.

6. Ruff Diamond also reserves the right to have a dog or puppy returned if for any reason we feel the dog is being or has been neglected or abused.

7. Ruff Diamond also reserves 2 studs off all males sold that are produced by Ruff Diamond.

8.  Ruff Diamond guarantees all pups and dogs to be genetically sound in temperament at the time of delivery and for 7 days thereafter.  If for any reason you feel a pup or dog is not sound in temperament you must contact Ruff Diamond immediately and a certified trainer must be contacted for an evaluation of the pup or dog.  If the dog is determined by the trainer and Ruff Diamond the pup or dog will be replaced in accordance to our contract.

9. Purchaser also agrees that Ruff Diamond will follow the dogs name at all times. (example: "Spot of Ruff Diamond" or "Ruff Diamonds Spot")

10.  All female pups or dogs sold by Ruff Diamond are not to be bred until the age of at least 20 months and if this is not followed Ruff Diamond has the right to state the dog has been abused and the dog will be returned to Ruff Diamond.

11.  Purchaser also agrees that this contract and the Ruff Diamond Guarantee is voided if females are bred before the age of 20 months and males at the age of 16 months.  Prior to breeding or studding a dog from Ruff Diamond the dog must be checked for Hip Dysplasia and or genetic defects or genetic health problems.  If this is not done prior to breeding this contract and guarantee are voided.

12.  Ruff Diamond reserves all rights to void or change our guarantee at any time if the purchaser does not abide by all terms and conditions herein.

13. This guarantee is for the original purchaser only and cannot be carried to another owner unless agreed to by Ruff Diamond and is placed in writing.

14. If said buyer purchases a pup and decides they can no longer keep said pup the pup must be returned to Ruff Diamond via the purchaser.  Ruff Diamond is not responsible for shipping charges of dogs/pups that the owner decides they no longer want.

By signing this contract the buyer understands this contract and has read and understands our guarantee and also understands it is binding and is aware of the puppy only guarantee.  No cash refunds for any reason.

Ruff Diamond also has the right to deal with our guarantee and contract on a case by case basis.  All terms and conditions must be met and Ruff Diamond will make all final decisions.
